Personality:
All in all, he is smart, brave, and kind. He can be opinionated and cocky at times. He is outgoing, has not had any successful relationships in life (except for loving himself), and he enjoys fighting.
``Intelligent,,
Bal is as physically fit as he is mentally. Not only can he take you down physically, he can take you down mentally at the same time. His wisdom is mostly in fighting but he is amazing at hunting as well. His eyes barely miss anything and his mind calculates everything he sees from land markings to herd travel routes. He thinks out everything before he does it and won't make a move or say anything until he thinks it out.

Fear? Ha! Bal doesn't know what fear is. He will never run from a fight and will even start them for fun. He protects those near to him, sooo no one. He is so brave he is considered cocky. Not only does he start fights and fight in them but he will gladly kill any creature in the fight. He will split up fights and takes down huge prey all alone.

Bal loves to met new creatures. He is talkative at times and enjoys socialization, to a point. He loves meetings and offering his opinion at anytime he can.
``Relationships,,
Bal has never loved and will try not to for as long as he can. His mother was hurt by his father quite a few times so he prefers to not think of love. He knows how to treat females and has a way with words. He seems to be able to seduce and woo females easily. Due to his inability to love he rarely trusts. He believes trusting will only end up ruining things. Once he trust a creature he is loyal to them forever.

Bal is sometimes called cocky. Pfft, he doesn't believe that. Why would he? Only his opinion really matters. He is always right. Always! He will disagree with you if he doesn't believe your opinion is true and will tell you the right one. He also has this obession with power. He loves it and craves it. Once he has it he rules nicely but most of the time it is all about him.

Having a fight? Call Bal over. He loves fighting, craves it. He has been known to fight almost daily, leaving him with multiple scars. He does have a temper at times and will show it when neeeded.
History:
Broken Ballad does not like telling anyone about his past and so he hasn't. Yet, he tells others how he got his name. When he was born his mother was very pleased that he was a healthy foal. His father was angry that Ballad was not a light grey like himself so he grew to hate Ballad and his mother. A first Broken Ballad was only known as Ballad but as time went on his mother grew to become annoyed with Ballad so much that she disowned him at the age of 7 months. Before she left she told him that his new name would be Broken Ballad. She said he was not good enough so he was broken. He was shocked and for the next few years he walked around lonely and in pain from what he had been told by his mother. Along his way he met many odd horses, rude ones, and even some rogue ones. He was also attacked by a cougar when he was a yearling, leaving him with a scar across his right side, starting behind his eye and going down to his right front hoof.
