Out of Character - 1. No matter who you are, what your rank or who you play out of character you will show everyone else respect. Everyone includes members, admins, mods, and guests. Just remember in case this ever happens - do not feed the trolls. Also you must be 13 years or older to join the site as stated by proboards ToS.
- 2. Most of you should know this, but for those of you who are new to roleplaying no powerplaying or godmoding.
Powerplaying: Playing out the actions, reactions or anything at all for a character that doesn't belong to you.
Godmoding: Making your character god like to the point where it is so strong it never gets hurt and is able to dodge every blow thrown at it. No character is prefect!
- 3. Please be active. I don't want the site to die and not being active is how they do just that. So ones a month I will hold an activity check. Also leads and alphas must post at least three times a week.
- 4. Drama in character is fine, but if you have a problem with someone in character don't bring that into out of character. All problems with a person should be talked out between yourself and the member in question off the site. Don't go dragging the rest of the site into your problems and start a drama war. Such things will get you deleted from the site.
- 5. Please follow the season stated on the site and be realistic about it. No snow in the summer unless up on the mountains, don't say it is autumn when it is spring or spring when it is winter.
- 6. Liquid time is allowed here. What that means is you can be in more then one thread at a time as long as you keep a time line in place between those posts.
In Character
The basics
- 7. Alpha spots can't be stolen only tryout for. It is allowed by site for the sons of the alpha to fight over the rank of heir if the alpha allows it.
- 8. Please try when you type up your posts. There is no min word count, but please at least one paragraph ( 5 to 7 sentences).
- 9. When making graphics use stock images only or images you took yourself. Also put proper credit on stuff. Images from flickr and/or DA doesn't count as proper. Person who you got the stock from @flickr.com/ Person who you got the stock from @da.com or DeviantART.com is proper credit. No images that stretch the layout.
- 10. No matter how awesome your character is all characters die. Here on the site they are allowed to live up to 20 years. 25 years if the gods deem their worthy of a longer life however they aren't allow to breed after 18 years old.
- 11. The site is rated PG-13 so keep it that way.
- 12. Cursing in character is ok just don't go overboard with it and never out of character.
- 13. No horse over 18HH. We don't want huge horses running around like rabid raccoons. Also please keep within reason with the heights. This is sort of a realistic horse site so keep it so. No 17hh ponies or .4 anything. hands go .0, .1, .2 and .3 only there is no .4, .5, .6, etc...
- 14. A horse is an adult when they reach 3 years of age.
Claiming
- 15. Only adult horses are allowed to claim land or become alpha.
- 16. Light and neutral mares are allowed to claim land. Dark mares aren't allowed Ohanzee has forbidden it.
- 17. When claiming land use the form provided.
- 18. Stallions are only allowed to force claim a mare in Faded Meadow or if a mare crosses into their land and she isn't a lead. However at faded meadow even lead mares may be claimed against their will. So if you are a lead mare it is a good idea to have a stallion in your herd to enter this land for you so you don't get claimed.
- 19. The official invitation ground is Daisuke Beach, however inviting someone in the other lands is of course fine. The beach is just where many seeking a home go.
- 20. Motherless foals may be claimed by any mare or a stallion if they have a mare that can take care of the foal in their herd. Or if the foal is over a year old.
- 21. Any stallion without a herd is allowed to have one mare with him. Either by inviting her or claiming her to himself. Any more then that and he must claim or steal a herd.
Breeding & Birthing
- 22. There is no graphic breeding or birthing allowed on the site. If you feel you simply must do that doing off site. Sorry I don't want the site closed for breaking ProBoards' ToS.
- 23. Breeding and birthing my only happen in Ingenue Maze or in the herd lands. If Breeding or birthing in the Maze the goddess might show herself to you or your newborn.
- 24. Force breeding may also happen in the herd lands if the lead allows it and it may happen in the maze just be for warned if the goddess catches you something bad will happen.
- 25. After breeding a mare must wait one IC year before giving birth. (Ie 10 weeks as each season lasts 2 and a half weeks.)
- 26. The next spring or summer depending on when bred please post stats of both parents in the maze so that staff can give you your baby(ies).
Fighting
- 27. When fighting please try not to ramble also please keep the graphic-ness of it down, but make it realistic.
- 28. You are only allowed two dodges per fight. Unless the god of battle grants you the power of Lucky Dodge. If he does you are allowed one more dodge for ONE battle only. So which ever battle you pick to use it in make it count, but you must still use it realistically.
- 29. There are no riddles allow here so if you want to steal land or a mare, foal, or whatever you must fight for it.
- 30. All battles over lands and mares/foals should happen in Devil's Courtyard on Edom Mountains. All other fights can happen anywhere else and the only exception for battling over mares/foals is in Faded Meadow. You may fight for a mare/foal there if someone force claims them.
- 31. Anyone who loses a fight for a mare/foal at the meadow or the courtyard must wait at least four day before challenging again for them and the loser of a land battle must wait a full seven days before challenging again.
- 32. If land was just challenged for everyone must wait a full seven days before they can try and challenge for it. Give leads a chance to heal guys.
Powers
- 33. Powers are given out by the gods and goddesses only.
- 34. Only staff can play the gods and goddesses for they are NPC (for now anyways)
- 35. If you abuse the power(s) given to your character(s) the gods and goddesses can take them away.
If the need arises more rules maybe added or changed.
